The Original Green Juice Recipe
- 4 Apples (Green Apples if you have them on hand)
- 1 Lime or Lemon
- 1 piece of Ginger (approximately 2 inches)
- 2 Cucumbers (medium sized)
- 8 Celery Stalks
- 16 Kale leaves with stalks
If you want, you can substitute one of the apples for an orange for a little extra sweetness. Another little tid-bit for a minty finish add a couple of mint leaves and stalks. The order in which you juice them doesn’t matter, I usually start with an apple then add greens, another apple, more greens etc. This method of juicing allows the juice to be more evenly distributed and gives you a good distribution of all the flavors rather than having a concentration at the top or bottom of one item vs the other.
